Quick Start Guide:
- Prep the System: Ensure your vacuum pump is operational, with clear oil and no blockages. Inspect all glassware and perform any necessary degassing.
- Load Material: Using a stir bar and a funnel, carefully load your material into the boiling flask.
- Assemble Glassware: Grease each joint lightly, assemble glassware, and connect the circulator to the condenser.
- Set Parameters: Set the circulator to 50°C and the heat source to 60°C. Connect the vacuum pump and ensure the manifold, cow, and cold trap are properly set up.
- Begin Distillation: Gradually increase heat and stirring, and monitor vacuum pressure. Collect fractions as temperatures rise (180-250°C), adjusting speed and heat as needed.
Note: This setup is shipped via motor freight. Customers must inspect all components upon delivery and report damages within 72 hours.
Important Notice: Glassware must be carefully inspected before and after each use. Any imperfections or stress cracks can lead to breakage, which may result in injury or damage. Ensure proper handling to maintain the longevity of your equipment.
