This bag contains two types of molecular sieve—one that changes color to indicate moisture levels and a standard sieve for drying gases and liquids. Both are ideal for efficient moisture control in various processes.
Blue Moisture-Indicating Molecular Sieve: This type is a special sodium alumina silicate material with a built-in moisture indicator. It starts out blue when dry and turns beige when saturated, so you know exactly when it needs replacing. In addition to removing moisture, it can also absorb gases like oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. It's more efficient than traditional desiccants like silica gel and alumina.
White Molecular Sieve: This is a highly effective sodium alumina-silicate material in spherical form. It has a pore size of about 4 Angstroms, allowing it to absorb molecules such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and straight-chain hydrocarbons while leaving out aromatic and branched-chain hydrocarbons.
Key Features:
- Effective for natural gas drying and dehydration of polar compounds like methanol and ethanol.
- Built-in color indicator that visually shows when the molecular sieve reaches moisture saturation.
- Made from durable sodium alumina silicate with crystalline composition.
- Easy to use and more efficient than traditional desiccants.
